Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb - Electric Blue

Anyone been able to try one of these yet?

I'll be off to the store next Monday to check it out. Not too keen on the colour, but the Creamback could be a good upgrade for this amp.

Note: the listing is incorrect, it's a 12" speaker and a Creamback (not 10" Greenback as per the URL (saw it in person at the store - didn't have time then to play).

Yeah, just saw that thread. Not too keen on the price, but it is what it is with hand-wired amps...

I bought one but Im taking it back.
It sounds good, but there are issues with noise.
The amp has a Hiss, or mine does anyways, so micing it for recording or live use is a problem.
Im going to compare it to another one to see if I bought a bad one.
I do like it, but not for the $ it costs. If I find that I just had a bad one and another one at the store works better, and runs quiet,
then I will exchange it as it has been growing on me, even with the sound issue.
Ohh, it also has a very loud POP when turning off. That I definitely dont like.
I personally do not know how it would fare in a band setting yet.

Reviving an old thread here. Wondering if the OP purchased the quoted 68' CDR in electric blue?
